Abstract

|
Dermatomyositis is a disease of unknown etiology characterized by proximal muscle weakness and specific cutaneous findings This disorder is closely related to polymyositis, which has all the muscular features of dermatomyositis without the
presence
of
skin disease.
Dermatomyositis seems to be characterized by an increased frequency of internal malignancy. We with to report herein a case of dermatomyositis associated with breast cancer in 43-year-old woman, and reviewed the literature on the relationship of
dermatomyositis and malignancy.
